Our Mobile Laser Peening Facility enables Metal Improvement Company to apply this technology to large stationary parts located at the customer's site.
One of the keys to applying this technology on-site is an active beam delivery systems, which manipulates the laser while the object to be peened remains stationary. The moveable beam improves processing speed and simplifies motion for peening complex geometries. In addition, the laser generation system can be located several hundred feet from the part to be laser peened and the beam optically "piped" to the work area.
